Years ago, I warned that many of our society's ills were brought on by what was being taught in our public schools. Many of my friends scoffed at the idea. With the availability of the Internet to most, I found it easy to access the information that bore out my conclusions.

The site of the National Education Association, or NEA, was, and is, a goldmine of information. For instance, several years ago, I found a page, now gone, on their site that advocated that teachers encourage their teenage students to experiment with sexual intercourse, including homosexual relationships.

We have a powerful teachers' union, the NEA, telling its members--teachers--to promote promiscuous sexual relations among our teenagers. They were to emphasize the joys of homosexual relations to those same teens--our children, and grandchildren.

First of all, since when do teachers have the right to promote irresponsible and ungodly activities among our young children? Second, what gives a union the right to tell its teachers what to teach? Isn't a union a bargaining unit, formed to negotiate pay and benefits for workers? Why does a union decide what is to be taught to our children?

Recently, the NEA has delved deeper into this insidious and malicious malpractice by pushing homosexuality onto all of our students. Here are several links that show the depths to which this union has descended. Be careful to note the use of key words or phrases that are code words for what they really mean. For instance, diversity is used to cloak the fact that they support homosexuals and the homosexual lifestyle, including sexual relations and activities. Another word is safe. We all want our children to be safe, right? But when the teachers' union speaks of a safe school, they are talking about promoting homosexuality. They also advocate against bullying. That sounds like a good idea, because we don't want big kids shoving little kids around, do we? But in reality, when this union, the NEA, talks about bullying, they are talking about promoting homosexuality.

Promoting "social orientation and gender identity".

This promotion of homosexuality is only one of the devices used by this group to tear apart the American way of family life that we have known for so long. They are also teaching our young people to embrace socialism when it comes to various facets of life. They teach them that the world owes them a living, and that all should share equally in the world's resources. They take away responsibility and self-discipline, rewarding mediocrity.

These are the teachings of communists and socialists, who infiltrated the public school system in the 1950s through the 1970s. They are now firmly entrenched as the voice of the public school system, calling the shots on what is taught and the behavior modification that they impose on all students to bring them into line with the union's socialist/communist thinking.

As each year's graduates hit the pavement of America's streets, looking for work, they carry with them these socialist and communist ideas. It has been going on for about forty years, and it is getting worse. We see the results of this brainwashing in the outcomes of recent elections, where the young vote overwhelmingly for those who run for election under the doctrines and policies of the socialists.

We owe these attitudes to the NEA, the teachers' union, and their stranglehold on the public education system. My advice? Get your children into home-schooling or private schooling without delay. Then, demand that the public schools return to teaching the basics, rather than brainwashing the children into the socialist/communist mode of thinking.

The mess we are in today, culturally, has its roots in the communist infiltration of our public school system fifty or more years ago. We are now reaping the fruits of those early efforts.
